BAROQUE DOGS is a section of 12 small paperworks I made in 2021. The artworks are inspired by the outstanding textile design, sculptural dresses and incredible accessories of the Baroque age in France and England.

The paperworks were planned as sketches for large canvases. However, after I tried to work in a big scale, I had to admit that the power of the expression stayed in the sketches, so the canvases stayed unfinished or has been overpainted.
